Sixteen‑year‑old Sadie Thomas leaves her dysfunctional pack for a scholarship at Oxford - stepping seamlessly between the human world and the wolf world as if they were one. She returns home for her eighteenth birthday with a wolf that is powerful and rare, unlike anything anyone has ever encountered. By almost twenty, she has fought her way to the top and taken over her first pack. It is agreed that one day, when her Uncle Sebastian passes, the Dark Moon Pack will also be hers to rule. Whoever she meets - whether wolf or human - almost always underestimates her because of her youth and gender. Some realise their mistake too late; others are smart enough to recognise her strength and bow to it before they fall. She runs her growing empire alongside her brothers, navigating a violent underground world where the lines between the two worlds blur completely. She will protect those closest to her, whatever it takes. Never underestimate the young female Alpha.

Traumas and prejudices are just like genes-handed down, from parents first to children, then running through families. Anglia's family was-by all means-a small one; one sister and a deceased mother. But it was her whole world, literally. The essence of being and existence. What to live and die for! The two sisters went on with life, following the trail their ever-wise and ever-loving mother left them, relying on her wisdom-their only inheritance. The blade, the shield, and the treasure-it was. But the world was dominated by wild wolves and overflooded by crass men and their mother's first lesson ever was the following: 'Anything male is no good.' And for a good reason. Surely, it was. After all, every mother ought to protect her children. But she was no longer here, leaving her young daughters her only fortune of words, and an endless love that eluded forgetfulness, fatigued aging, and defied the passage of time. After the soul-withering, striking loss, for many, many days and long, long nights, Anglia and Angela had a hard time. Whether it was on the inside or in life itself. But finally, it has just started to ease. The sun will shine once again, and fate will smile away their pain! Especially, after safely getting through 'The PGP' without ending up leashed by a horrendous so-called 'Mate'. Hope was a sweet thing, relief is like a refreshingly cold sip of water, and what's better than making mother proud?! But one of her many lessons should have been more heeded. 'Sometimes, hope is just a delusion, and relief is-in fact-fear in its gut.' Anglia inadvertently and unconsciously pictured that grand events came along after grand entries. With loud bells and whistles-a head-start, she will have. It doesn't just come knocking at your door, doesn't just happen in the span of moments. But her mate wasn't a normal one, so maybe it makes sense not to find him in a normal manner, won't you say?! Indeed, he came in a manner that was just fitting-a manner just like him.
