Morgane has always known she was different. Trained by the KGB, she had survived missions that no one could have imagined. When she escaped with Natasha Romanoff, she quickly realized that no organisation not even one with the appealing name of S.H.I.E.L.D was right for her. Perhaps Clint Barton let her go out of mercy... she'll probably never know.

In the last few years, Morgane has done everything in her power to break free from her past. Yet, her life take an unexpected turn when Nick Fury found her. Instead of condemning her, he offers her a choice: joins the avengers program or loose her life; reluctantly she agrees.

And that's how she find herself surrounded by a unlikely team: her sister , the man who spared her life , an eccentric philanthropist, an Australian god , a man with a slip personality who is angry and a soldier far too charismatic for his age.

But as she discovers that her origins are more complex than the KGB had led her to believe, long-buried secrets resurface. Perhaps death... is not her enemy after all.
