F. Chris Garcia

F. Chris Garcia was a Professor of Political Science at the University of New Mexico for over four decades, though he also enjoyed success within a variety of administrative positions at the university. Garcia enjoyed tenures as Assistant Dean, Associate Dean and Dean of UNM’s College of Arts and Sciences, and would later serve as Vice President for Academic Affairs. He most recently enjoyed service as UNM President, which occurred between 2002 and 2003.
