There are two kinds of power in this city. The kind that wins elections- and the kind that makes elections irrelevant. I was born into the first. I chose the second. My father is the President of the United States. I am Kian. Between us, the law is just a suggestion. After midnight, Los Angeles empties itself for people like us. Barriers go up. Cameras go live. A ring is drawn. A name is announced. For thirty minutes, one person runs- and everyone else turns predator. We don't race for money. We race for ownership. For reputation. For the quiet understanding that if you win enough times- no one dares to touch you again. I've never lost. Not the race. Not control. Not people. Liora was never something to win. She was already..... there. Soft. Undemanding. Uncomplicated. The kind of presence that doesn't ask questions you don't want to answer. The kind you don't think twice about. Then came Vesper. And suddenly- everything started asking questions. She doesn't react the way people should. Doesn't hesitate. Doesn't adjust. Doesn't care who I am. And I decided to understand her. It starts as a conversation. Becomes a pattern. Then a decision. A bet. Not about speed. Not about strength. About something far more predictable- emotion. There's a method to it. Attention at the right moment. Silence at the right time. Truth, carefully edited. You don't force someone to fall. You let them arrive there on their own- and make sure they think it was their choice. I've done it before. I know exactly how it ends. So I don't hesitate. I don't question it. I don't stop. Because the outcome is obvious. Until it isn't. Until the person you're studying starts watching you back. Until control stops feeling like control- and starts feeling like something else. And for the first time- the only variable I can't calculate... is myself.

"Vi... Viaan, please don't do this.. don't leave me, please come back. It's our wedding day. Plea...please I'm begging you." "Do not ever call me again, Ira. It's over between us." The line went dead. That was all it took for him to left me at the Altar for her. *** ~ A REBIRTH STORY From childhood, Ira Veyansh was always compared to Niya Kapadia. Niya ~ the maid's daughter who could do everything better. Studies, sports, looks, manners, obedience, everything. Everyone loved Niya. Ira parents, her brothers, even the family celebrated her like she was one of their own. Birthdays, dinners, small achievements... the praise always went to Niya. "Ira, you should be more like Niya." "I wish Niya was my sister." "Take a lesson from Niya." Day by day, Ira felt invisible. Starved for love and attention, she did things she shouldn't have, hurt Niya, humiliated her, even darker. But nothing worked. Then came Viaan. Her childhood love. The one she thought would finally make her happy. But he chose Niya too. The pain and humiliation were too much for her to handle. That night, walking alone in the rain after being abandoned at her own wedding, Ira was hit by a truck. A brutal accident that ended her life. But life gave her a second chance. A rebirth. She remembered everything. Every insult. Every betrayal. Every heartbreak. And somewhere in that second life... there is this man. Reevan. A man she was never meant to cross paths with. Forbidden. Yet somehow... tied to her fate. Now, the question is, will she let fate repeat itself, or will she change her story?
