Wanna Be Yours ♡

She had stopped believing in love long before she stopped talking about it. It wasn't one big heartbreak that did it-but a quiet accumulation of almosts, maybes, and not-quites. By the time she reached college, she carried herself with a calm detachment, like someone who had already read the ending and didn't care to start the story again. She smiled easily, laughed when needed, but there was a distance in her eyes-a soft, guarded place where hope used to live. But the hope inside her still tries to stay alive cause somewhere in her heart she still hopes to fine that love she is longing for.
He, on the other hand, had never even opened that chapter. Love was never a distraction he entertained. His world was built on plans, deadlines, and ambition. While others chased feelings, he chased stability. College, for him, was just another step toward a future he had carefully mapped out. Focused, disciplined, and quietly determined, he moved through life with purpose, untouched by the chaos of emotions he saw around him.
When their paths crossed, it wasn't dramatic. No sparks, no instant magic-just a simple moment, ordinary and forgettable to anyone else. But something shifted.
She noticed how he never tried too hard-how his presence felt steady, not overwhelming.
He noticed how she seemed strong yet quietly tired-like she had learned too much, too soon.
And somehow they understood eachother without needing to say alot.
And maybe that's why, slowly and unexpectedly, something real began to find them.
