There is an ancient prophecy, passed down through generations.
A Grey Warrior will come.
A child of the Force.
A ruler of both light and darkness.
And will bring balance to the Force.
⸻
When a rift open at the edge of known galaxy Obi-Wan Kenobi didn't find a weapon or a war. He found a primitive world called Earth-and a girl who shouldn't exist.
Lyra was a ghost in the streets of New York. An orphan who learned that survival has a price and that the "power" in her veins was a curse to be hidden. She was alone, broken, and waiting for a light that never came.
Until the Jedi found her.
Stepping into the Republic isn't a rescue-it's an awakening.
Beneath the heroism of the Jedi lies an ancient, terrifying truth. Lyra isn't only a Jedi . She is the storm that the prophecy promised-a power so raw it could heal the galaxy or tear it apart at the seams.
She will learn that hope is the most dangerous thing you can carry into a war.
She will discover that family is not always a thing worth dying for.
She will discover that the guardians of light might be the biggest liars of them all.
And she will find a love so strong it might just be the very thing that forces her to destroy herself.
In a universe of light and shadow, the brightest flame always burns out first.

Warning: later parts of the story contain explicit themes of trauma, depression, and suicide. As for sexual content, most scenes happen "behind closed doors" rather than being graphically described. If these topics are too heavy for you, I recommend skipping this story.
The main character is far from a sunshine-type heroine. She is morally grey, deeply traumatized, and struggles with depression, survivor's guilt, and her own identity. The story may not seem especially dark at first, but it gradually descends into much heavier territory.
