Pygmalion's Lover

I wrote "Pygmalion's Lover" for an English course where we were required to write an adaptation of a Greek/Roman mythological story in play form. I decided to write my paper on the Greek myth of "Pygmalion", being drawn to its peculiar take on obsessive love. write about the story of "Pygmalion". "Pygmalion" is a story featured in Ovid's famous work Metamorphoses which holds a vast selection of famous Greco-Roman myths. In the process of writing my paper, it sparked an idea for a future short story for a modern-day twist of Pygmalion. I hope you enjoy this one for now though!

The Tale of Hades & Persephone
This is a rewrite of my previous fan fiction "Tales of Hades and Persephone" as well as some inspiration from the original myth (and perhaps other retellings I enjoy). Hades has been alone for far too long. One day he pays a visit to Zeus and requests to marry Persephone. The King of the Gods agrees and even recommends Hades kidnap Persephone, since it's unlikely Demeter will agree to the marriage. Persephone is a young Goddess of Earth curious about the world of the mortals. She's always helping her mother Demeter, but one day while watching the mortals she wanders off only to fun into a handsome stranger. After a brief conversation, Persephone finds herself swept away to the Underworld. Will Hades manage to get Persephone to fall in love with him? What will Demeter do when she discovers her daughter is missing and it's all Zeus' fault? Will the mortals be able to survive the wrath of the Gods?Completa
Love Metamorphosis
Life can change so unexpectedly. One moment it was going to be the happiest day of Jemma Turner's life. Then the next moment she is standing in her wedding dress in the hospital and they are telling her she is a widow before she can become a wife. Trying to live with reality she starts working again as a child psychologist, taking on cases and trying to remember what normal might be without the love of her life. That is until Eric McManis, a new friend, needs her help and her expertise. Jemma knew she cared for him but begins to notice an attraction in such close quarters. Unsure if she wants a second chance at love, Jemma struggles with growing feelings. She isn't sure if there can be two great loves in one life but she has a feeling if she does Eric just might be the man for the job. **I wrote Love Metamorphosis years ago after reading an article about a woman who lost her husband-to-be on their wedding day. It moved me so much that I felt the urge to write an entire fictional story based solely on the idea of what a person would go through if the happiest day of their life suddenly became the worst. My immediate thought was I hope she choose to live and love again if the opportunity arose to marry someone else. Thus Love Metamorphosis was born. After years of gathering proverbial dust, I decided to get a nice cover made and share this novella with everyone. Complete Cover art by White Noise GraphicsCompleta
TFP Parent Preferences
Here is the sequel to my TFP Dating Preferences. This book is strictly meant to be read with a 17+ years old POV. There isn't any mature content, but you (the reader) are the wife/mother in this story and I don't promote underage relationships or pregnancy. IMPORTANT NOTE!: You're only in a relationship with ONE character, not all at the same time, meaning that each relationship is basically in an alternate universe of its own. Also, all credit for the pictures goes to each individual respective photographer and artist, and the Cybertronian characters belong to Hasbro! This is one of my older books, so it wasn't proof read or edited.Completa

Marrying The God Of Craftsmanship! [COMPLETED✓]
I suddenly died while reading greek mythology. I know! I know! It's so cliche! I am very aware of that fact! But you're correct, I got reincarnated inside of Greek mythology. I became a forest nymph with very ordinary powers and an ordinary nymph-like face. I spend my days playing with the other nymphs or enjoying my time flattering Artemis and listening to Hera's issue with his Horny husband, Zeus. Not until the abduction happened and I met Hephaestus, the God of Craftsmanship. And one day, he suddenly knocked on my door with a very beautiful ring in his hand. He has a shy look on his face which made me a little flustered. He wants me to be his wife? But how about Aphrodite? Never mind, I accepted his ring by the way.Completa

[COMPLETED - ONLY MINORLY EDITED] ******************************************************** Greek myths - true or false? They should be false, and to 16-year-old Sophie Claire, it's never crossed her mind that they aren't. Until one day in History class when her teacher spends a day on Greek mythology and something strange starts happening - her friends and classmates begin to tell myths about certain Greek deities with frightening precision. And for some reason, she's began to feel a certain affinity for Persephone, the Greek maiden who was kidnapped by Hades, the Lord of the Underworld, and forced into a marriage with him. This isn't some coincidence or freak dream, she later finds out from a host of strange individuals who claim they're from Olympus, the grandoise home of the gods themselves. She is actually a modern reincarnation of the goddess Persephone, and she's not the only one. A few of her classmates also happen to represent the gods and goddesses from popular Greek myths, and the fact that all of them are present means that something monumental is about to happen. Something like being the girl to change Persephone's future, to break the cycle of kidnapper and victim - all by passing a trial. It won't be simple, she knows, and she's not quite that eager to take it up, but from the moment she found out that she was Persephone, there was no way to back out. She should've known, however, that dealing with all powerful, immortal deities wasn't going to be easy. They've got a few secrets and personality flaws up their sleeves, and they could be deadly. More than deadly - murderous.Completa
