As we all know, the Butterfly family is a very twisted bloodline. We also know about Festivia and Meteora being switched a birth. However, what we didn't know is that Eclipsa had a second child just before being turned to crystal, a son. During a heated fight, the son got turned back into a baby. This was 2 months before Star was born. Moon found out, and decided to raise him as her own along with Star. They always knew they weren't actual siblings, however they were just told that he was adopted. Not that they were actually related.
