(This is a Jalex fan fiction based off a play by Neil Simon called "The Odd Couple" written in the 1960s, I take no credit for the origin of this story and I hope you enjoy it).  

Alex Gaskarth is a complete and utter mess.  He can't get his life together.  The only thing together in his life he has his dream job as the lead singer of a successful pop punk band All Time Low that he formed with his friends in high school.   

Jack Barakat is a control freak.  He has to control everything, even his thoughts before they leave his mouth.  He makes sure everything is in perfect order before he leaves the house for work every day.  Jack is living the dream, married to model and television personality Holly Madison.  

Jack's life falls apart when his beloved wife tells him that she just doesn't love him anymore and wants a divorce.  Alex and Jack end up having to live together in an Alex's apartment, putting their lives back together.  

Will something more than friendship develop between the two boys?  Or will their friendship become even more damaged beyond repair?All Rights Reserved

Ignore all the spelling and grammar mistakes, trust me, I know they are there. Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat are and forever will be the best of friends. They do everything together, almost like brothers. People often joked with them by calling them a secret romance, and the boys would play along, stealing kisses while on stage for their band All Time Low, kisses that never really had an underlined meaning to either of them. But that changes when Jack meets the girl of his dreams, Scarlet Miller. Scarlet is everything Jack wants in a women, she's smart. funny, caring, and she knows how to be one of the guys. Rian and Zack absoultely adore her saying she is a part of the group. None of this sits well with Alex however, he is annoyed by the girl, always giving her a cold shoulder. After all, she is the girl that stole his best friend. Jack has been canceling plans and talking to Alex less and less. Alex hates her, when people ask him about it he simply says she's not right for him. Deep down Alex knows that's not the truth, he has feelings for Jack that he will never admit too. But as time goes on, feelings start to grow to a burning point, feelings Jack nor Alex thought possible.
