BETWEEN HEAVEN & HIM.....

The story follows Nico Whysall, a quiet and obedient boy from a very religious family. He always tries to do what's right and be a good son. But inside, he's struggling.
Nico knows he's gay, but he was taught it's a sin. So he hides his feelings and tries to ignore them. He's also secretly dealing with a serious illness, but he keeps it to himself because he doesn't want to burden his family.
Everything changes when he meets Lucian De Castro, a transfer student who is his complete opposite. Lucian is confident, outspoken, and doesn't believe in God. People see him as a troublemaker and even call him "Lucifer," which he doesn't mind.
At first, they don't get along. But over time, they start to understand each other. Lucian makes Nico feel seen for the first time.
As they grow closer, Nico becomes more confused. He feels guilty for loving Lucian and starts questioning his faith, his family, and himself.
This story is personal to me. It explores self-hatred, family pressure, religion, and the struggle between faith and love.
