Suddenly I slammed into someone, shocked, my eyes flew open. Green. Green as a willow tree's elegant leaves. Green eyes I could look into for hours. She looks equally as startled as she frantically apologizes. "Nothing to worry about, you needn't apologize, I just...I just wasn't pay attention" I reassure her earnestly, and smile tentatively hoping it will help ease her worry. She smiles back, and it's positively breathtaking the way her eyes sparkle playfully and her face slightly reddens. "Please excuse me Princess, I must be on my way as there's much to be done while there are visitors in the castle" ......... Princess Ebony is fourth in line for the throne but has never been able to find her place in the palace or life. Her 16th birthday is approaching and her world is changing including meeting Cora, a new maid in the palace who Ebony can't stop thinking about. Will she be able to find love and understand herself in the complex world she lives in?
