Enemies to Lovers
Slow Burn
Highschool
Alya Ravi has always believed in one thing: Logic. -Stick to the plan. -Focus on the future. -Don't get distracted (especially not by people.) Milo Vance has always been: -Her neighbor. -Her brother's best friend. -And somehow-her biggest competition. They weren't always like this. Once, they were just kids across the driveway. Until one moment in freshman year turned everything into a rivalry Alya refuses to lose. But years later, things start to shift. Conversations last a little longer. Silence feels different. And the line between enemies and something else begins to blur. Then Valentine's Day happens. Secrets come out. Trust breaks. And for the first time, Alya finds herself on the outside of everything she thought she understood. Except Milo Vance is still there. And the more time she spends around him, the harder it is to ignore the past-and what it might have actually meant. Because maybe the story between them was never about competition. Maybe it was always about timing. And maybe, after everything- some truths were always waiting right across the driveway. ‐--------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you so much Wise_girl23 for making this amazing cover!!

"You can't have everything." "Why can't I?" He shouted. I stretched my hand, giving him the jacket. "Because that's not how it works." Assuming he was reaching for the jacket, I moved closer but instead he pulled me by the arms and secured his hand around my waist. "Then how can he have everything he wants?" Seth said, his voice was a whisper in my ear, his face beside mine, his jaw grazing my cheek. I flinched away. **** Alyssa Lucille is rich and young, she's sixteen. That's it. The good part is over. She looks pretty average, she overthinks everything, she likes creating alternate realities. When summer arrives, she wants to have a good time but things get out of control relatively quickly as she's forced to invite Seth Harrison back into her life, the guy she might as well hate. Seth Harrison works to earn a living. He's eighteen and steps into Alyssa's life, trying to earn back her trust again. He doesn't smile when he finds out she's the girl his bestfriend's dating. **** Is this the cliche book where the bad boy and the good girl don't like each other and then suddenly realize they're in love? No. I'm just an author changing the steriotypical plot and giving you guys something different. Something I would love to read atleast :) **** 1st place in Excellence Awards (2021 romance) If you're reading this, I urge you to continue!!
