In Berlin, Germany, for the past 30 years, at least once a week the city is turned into a foggy landscape. This fog, at first, seemed to be a weather phenomenon to some. Others turned it into a scheme to attract tourists. However, after a full year, the truth came to light. A crime syndicate called Purple Smoke declared it was their handiwork. They found a way to generate fog, and in the span of a day at least 30 murders would take place. No motive, no plan, no reasoning. Just killings for the sake of it. Instead of driving people away, it lured people in. Officials of political and social status began advertising the murderous city for financial gain. The city of Berlin became a hotbed for aspiring young investigators and operatives. However, it also lured in many criminals who would use the mention of Purple Smoke to make a name for themselves. The fog that started in the 70s has attracted and scared many for years.
