A poem for your soul

as leaves fall

my heartbreak stalls

when I stare out the window

I remember

back when i imagined

I was a sparrow jumping in the snow

in a place where white cold never falls

or the oasis

in the desert full of yellow sand

I believed I could be anything

truly, people would believe hope

coming true was rare

but when I gaze out that same window

I feel the spark in my heart

igniting ablaze

hello guys, this a compilation of poems I have written. after many failed attempts to write fanfiction, I realised writing in a poetic and short style suited me more, so I am attempting to post a poem :D I'll upload around every day so have fun reading
