The Gifted

Jadyn and her peers at the GCP facility are there for one reason, at birth they exhibited signs of carrying The Essence; a substance that grants you an ability no human should naturally possess. Most are mental; psychic abilities, telekinesis, and telepathy. Some are more bodily oriented such as endorphins and blood binding, though those are exceedingly rare and always used in tactical missions and interrogation. Most of her peers have experienced their gift by now, it developed at the same rate as our brain, by 25 you should have full expression of your gift. Jayden has had no such luck, all she has are nightmares of foreign lands and crystal clear blue eyes laced in menace. She knows what happens to those who do not express a gift; they are never seen again. Will she finally tap into her innate ability before it's too late?
