Akamatsu was only 12 years old when the Titan's attacked in X845. He lost everything. His Mother, His Father, His Two Brothers, and most of all, His Hope. He was left with only rage and hatred. He'd struggled to stay alive, though he thought about how his family would not want him to join them yet, no matter how much he loved them, how much he envied them. He was found by a man, Commander Dot Pyxis, who took him in and brought him up for 3 years before entering him into the Training Scheme to become a soldier. Pyxis saw something in the boy that he rarely saw, it reminded him of the Leader of the Survey Corps, Levi Ackerman. Commander Pyxis saw hidden strength and potential within Akamatsu, and hoped he'd become what He knew Humanity needed to survive.
