*Shadows Before Nightfall* is a short introductory novella set in the SoulBlood world.

This story takes place shortly after the fall, following a different group of survivors on the East Coast. It focuses on survival, discovery, and the early signs that the world-and the creatures in it-aren't what they seem.

This is a setup story. A beginning.
