Blodwyn (BLOD-wyn) Euphemia Potter had finally done what she had been raised to do her entire life; she had defeated Voldemort and his legion of dark forces. She thought once it was all over that she would feel relief, happiness, perhaps even numb. Instead, all she felt was this crushing ache that kept coiling tighter around her chest the longer she spent around her friends and loved ones who had survived the war.
She had continued her Muggle schooling, using self-study over the years, and graduated from high school by the time she was fifteen. After the war, she went to Harvard, where she got her BA (pre-med), John's Hopkins University for medical school, where she graduated with an MD, completing clinical rotations, all the while attending the University of California (UCSF) online in dual enrollment, where she completed a PhD.
Now, at twenty-five years old, Winnie Potter has moved across the pond to Seattle, Washington, where she has been invited to participate in one of the best intern programs in the US at Seattle Grace Hospital.
