Is love enough? Irish Viena is under the torment of believing that such love cannot ever exist and being a hopeless romantic. For her, the depth of love is undecipherable. Yet, she yearns for it. When we love, what are the standards? What decisions do we make, risks we take, and trusts we give? Is it reasonable enough? Or utterly fooling and shallow in the pretense of being in love? One man is enough. That is all. That is everything Viena wanted. But how will she attain that, if such love must be dealt with consequences she must face? Is love really enough? Or is it just a fleeting dream that shouldn’t have existed? *Cover illustration from Pinterest.

Surrounded by people who always seemed sharper, quicker, more effortless than her, Amelie looked like the outcast who never quite fit in. And so, it was so easy for anyone to judge her. And maybe everyone was right about her. Because she's the daughter of Roberto who killed her best friend's parents. The daughter of a mistress. And the flirt who seduced the guy who once loved her best friend. But it was just as easy to misunderstand Yi-an for being perfect. Being the only son of the owners of the Lauzière Group, a global multi-industry empire. Calling him perfect is almost an understatement-he's brilliant, composed, and damn emotionally intelligent. But Amelie never chose her parents, and Yi-an never chose to be the only son of two powerhouse moguls. Amelie never wanted to be her father's pawn, and Yi-an was simply too good at hiding what he truly felt. They were just two broken people caught in the disaster of their family's greed, and two people who stood outside a tale they barely understood. It made sense to become each other's anchor-each other's comfort. Their decisions should've been easy, but some choices crack in all the wrong places, and some consequences fall on people who were never meant to be part of their problems to begin with. And so, Amelie and Yi-an were left to choose-between becoming the people their parents designed, or risking everything to become who they actually were. ___ STATUS: On-going Highest ranking: #4 Romance
