Blood of the Cotinga

After Vespera came out to her village, she faced discrimination and a lack of acceptance for her and her childhood friend to lover, Tsovayin. This was the last straw, and it drove her to escape the suffocating place and live in the jungle alone.
Tsovayin is trapped in a military compound in a remote part of the jungle, and there she is abused and exploited for her destructive powers. She is treated like an object, being prepared to be used as a weapon in an impending war. The only thing she can hold onto is her relationship with Vespera. But when things with the two of them start to go downhill, she reaches a breaking point, and the fate of the entire jungle ends up lying in her and Vespera's hands.
Blood of the Cotinga is a lesbian romance with themes of manipulation, revenge, abuse, love, discrimination, corruption, and moral grey areas, that explores the darker sides of humanity.
