Khiara Santos was a bit different from any other girls in her age. Even as a child Khiara would show signs of differences from her female siblings. Instead of playing Barbie dolls she would often rather play with cars, toy guns, or any games that doesn't associate with her gender. Some of her relatives dislike this kind of her behavior because they have this belief that a woman/girl shouldn't act that way. She just ignore those kinds of protests because her parents always reminds her of how special she is.

It continued like that until she became a highschool student. She often gets discriminated because of her "pang gawi" that doesn't associate with her gender and sometimes be called by names like "tomboy" and other harmful words. Not until Von arrived. Von Andrea Afable, the one who brought light to her cruel and dark highschool life-her savior and number one companion.
