Taehyung didn't choose him , he wouldn't have, well if given a choice.

Jungkook was everything he avoided and he would prefer it if stayed that way, but the universe has its own ways of screwing with an individual's life.

So when he gets paired up with Jungkook for a project which would decide almost his entire grade , he already knows how it's going to go.
