Vacationing in a quaint town near the borderline of Southern Mexico, Jada Hollow and her family are caught in a devastating and ruthless attack lead by a Korean military pack. As a no-name to the common soldier of war she holds no recognizable rank of power - only the defense training of martial arts master hood. Out of nowhere, battle ships rise from the east in an attempt to control the Mexican spice mines. Minutes pass and Jada and her family reach cover within a crowded bomb shelter, waiting for help. It doesn't take long for the US marines to flood the scene and begin fighting off the Koreans. Quickly shuffling people into rescue vehicles and helicopters, Jada and her family follow the crowd of evacuating citizens and fellow tourists.
What happens next is a family's nightmare.
The Koreans are loosing the battle they thought would be an easy fight. Their leader Yun-seo, made a turning point decision in order to change the odds, or at least give his men a chance to regroup and escape. Capturing many young females and holding them hostage against the United States. Jada watches with secretly experienced eyes as burly uniform clad Koreans, menacingly approach unprotected girls, who mistakenly got separated to far from the group. She can’t stand the sight before her. As men, man handle children, that can’t be older the 17. Shrieks of terror and yelps of pain can be heard from those who unwillingly are dragged off. With so many people to protect, the spread thin US militia are calling for back up in order to retrieve these girls. But she knows that will take to long. Looking to the skies before fumbling her way through the crowd of people, Jada sees a way to damper on the enemy’s plans. Will she prevail and get her family to safety?..
"Your life will be restless, you shall never see peace..though you shall be blessed for the peace you bring others.Take comfort in knowing, even though you stand tall and along, others take shelter in your shadow."u

Nothing left my mouth as I stared at him in shock. He truly believed that I was part of this. The man, who I had lived with and served for months. The man who I had protected with my life and soul. I stood still while, as he backed away from me quickly. "I trusted you with my life." His cry pierced around the empty room. He looked so destroyed and hurt, but mostly his face portrayed rage and determation. "And I protected you with mine." I spoke back loudly. I didn't hear myself say it but I knew I did. I look into his eyes even from our distance they seemed to wallow me in darkness. "I gave you mine." My voice was quiet and cracked. His face changed only for a second before his old one took over again. He doesn't believe me. It doesn't matter what I say or do he won't listen. He will still believe I am the bad guy. Just as Kane said, we will never be equals, we will never be fellow humans. We will always be monsters to them. "Yakov, I am not the bad guy." I plead one last time. His Russian accent comes out harsh with his next words. "Your right," he pauses, "you are the villain." I stumble back as if I had just been stabbed in the chest. It was a horrible feeling. It was never good with the emotions and yet I recognize the feeling as heart beak. I barely breathe in air as I regain my posture. A battle cry from somewhere distracts me momentarily. I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. The lies and the truth are hidden among each other. There is is no clear good and evil. How can there be if one does not know what is right and what is wrong. She was prepared to see death, prepared to inflict death upon others without mercy or remose. She was prepared to do her job which the Facility had given her. But now it doesn't seem so simple anymore. Instead she focuses on keeping her friends alive.

BOOK 1 ~ Remember I was your hero, I'd wear your heart like a symbol I couldn't save you from my darkest truth of all ~ "Poor little y/n, fallen deep into the 'love' " He smirked while I lay on the ground struggling to hold on to dear life. He suddenly kneeled down beside me, caressing my face. Although his words were harsh, his eyes were warm. His dark brown eyes told the opposite of his words. Was he suffering? "I truly enjoyed this mission, all thanks to you y/n" he smiled at me, the smile was far from genuine. ~ Park Y/n, the so thought hidden daughter of the most famous martial arts guru. She was brought up in a small world, not many outdoor visits. Because her father feared, a murder in a past would soon target her next. The blood for blood phrase would soon come for her. And so he hid her, for 18 years he hid her in the same house he privately trained hundreds of martial students. That was until a certain hwang had finally decided to interfere with the parks family. After all it was the mission he was more than happy to accept. To kill the last two parks, being the father and the daughter. And so he made a sudden appearance in her life, slowly earning her trust, her friendship, her love, and using all those against her in the last moment, leaving her to die alone. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. [COMPLETED] "Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us. "Thought you could get away, didn't you?" The man who I saw before asks. His husky voice booms in the hollow tunnel, reverberating off of the dirt walls. His voice sounds familiar, and a realization strikes me. It sounds like the man from my dream. I remember him holding a gun and wearing a blue suit, smiling evilly at me. "Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living. She had good friends, good grades, a happy family, a loving boyfriend, and an overall content life, seemingly having everything a person could ask for. However, when she somehow gets thrown into the mix and is in the crossfires of a brutal mafia war that she has no business being a part of, things spiral out of control and she has to do whatever it takes to regain her freedom. In this hectic adventure of gun fights, torture, bank robbing and intimidating mafia men, Liza has to face it all, putting her average life on the line in order to defeat the bad guys and go back to her normal way of living.
