Sota is a 15-year-old Japanese boy, a teenager who has dropped out of school and lives alone in his small studio flat, trying to survive in a world that abandoned him far too young. Depression is eating away at him and he is reluctant to leave. But when a curse befalls him and his country, he realises he must do something to save the people from a bleak and destructive future.
Sota has a good heart and now refuses to die; he wants to save his people.
