Things Left Unsaid

Teressa has spent her entire life mastering the art of silence-keeping her thoughts buried, her pain hidden, and everyone else carefully at a distance. To the outside world, she is quiet, reserved, and untouchable. Inside, however, she is unraveling.

After the devastating end of her first relationship, Teressa retreats further into the solitude she has always known. She convinces herself that being alone is safer, that she was never meant to belong, and that there is nothing left for her to lose.

Then she meets Evander.
