Freen is a Fate Weaver - a celestial being who binds people together with red threads, creating what humans call "destined love." She doesn't believe in love. She's seen enough to understand it patterns, repetition, predictable outcomes. To her, it was never something special. Just part of the work. A name. A thread. A connection. Nothing more. Until one assignment comes wrong. There should have been two names. There is only one. Becky Armstrong. A stranger who shouldn't matter. A connection that shouldn't exist. A thread that became gold. And for the first time in Freen's existence... she is no longer certain where fate ends, and something dangerously real begins.
