Khia Monique doesn't get attached to people. At least that's what she tells herself.

A Brazilian model with a blunt permanently attached to her fingers, a mouth full of smart remarks, and a habit of wrapping an arm around Khia's waist like she belongs there.

What starts as friendship slowly turns into something neither of them knows how to name.
