A New Flock

Clary Fairchild, her ftm transgender brother, Evan Fairchild are thrust into the Shadow World on their eighteenth birthday, alongside their nineteen year old brother, Jonathan, when their Dad, Luke Graymark, is attacked and killed by Circle members.

Clary, Evan and Jonathan have been doing martial arts and weapons training most of their lives, mostly because of their Dads' job as a policeman.

He wanted them to be able to protect themselves, especially after Jocelyn is killed during a seemingly random shooting at an art gallery when the twins were five. An attack that left Evan scarred and limping for life. He uses a cane most of the time.

The twins adjustment to the Shadow World, especially their role as Shadowhunters isn't just to the new rules... it's to the fact that they are about to present their secondary genders, alpha, beta or omega, and their wings are supposed to be coming in soon.

Jonathan already has his wings and secondary gender, due to how he grew up for the first six years of his life.

Alec Lightwood, the resident flock alpha of the New York Institute, alongside his beta Parabatai Jace Herondale, and alpha sister, Izzy, do everything they can to help the Fairchild twins adjust to their secondary genders and their wings.

But everything is quick to derail when Evan finds out that Jocelyns' death wasn't the result of a random attack, and that their sperm donor is the one behind it all. Due to the recent loss of his Dad, Evans' emotions run high, triggering an early presentation and force his wings to come in early.

How will Alec, Izzy, Jace, Magnus and Ragnor keep the Fairchild siblings safe, while they hunt Valentine, the Mortal Cup and the Mortal Sword?

Will sparks fly for Evan and Alec? For Clary and Jace? For Jonathan and Izzy? Or will the Fairchild siblings keep to themselves?
