Dead Rest

It started with a few story's on the news, no one cared, no one believed them; then the city's went on lock down, only to be over run by vicious, and hungry creatures. Zombies, walkers, biters, the dead, whatever you call them; everyone knows one thing. Dont. Get. Bit.

Zane was already dead inside before the world died, yet, refuses to die unless its on his terms. Deep down, he only wants to find someone who he can trust, someone who isn't going to hurt him. He does think- no, he knows that'll never happen now, when everyone is left to fend for themselves, humans are naturally selfish creatures. Surely, he'll be alone until he finally has the gull to leave.

Jackson was always a hard ass, always with something to say, always ready to get into a fight, on the outside at least, on the inside he cared too much for the people he surrounded himself with, willing to go out of his way just for the people he cared for. despite his tough exterior, he was a gentle lover, with more patience he was ever given. Once the world ended, he found a group, with leader he knew was going to everyone killed, instead of leaving, and dying on his own, he decided to work his way up, becoming the second in command, close enough to keep that idiot in check. On a resource run with some people in his group, a man attacks his group with a knife, and they make quick work of him. But, he wasn't alone.
