The world began with Beasts and Beings.
Beings subjugated by Beast, by nature of their stronger bodies.
The Celestus knew that they must separate these two, for fear of what might happen if one snuffed out the other.
Thus, the first Feathers of the Crest were spread at Corvus' eastern coast, blessing the lands with unbridled magic.
But the consequences linger on, even generations after Those Coldest Times. Crests are is in the hands of the many, even while the damage they brought about still lingers.
Corvus is in recovery, delicately striving towards peace.
