She looked down at the black envelope again, fingers itching to tear it in half. "Who are you?"
"I'm the insurance policy."
"...For who?"
"For whoever wins."
Ivy shook her head. "That doesn't even make sense."
"It doesn't have to. War never does. You think love brought you on this plane, but love's just a pretty decoy."
She looked away, fists clenched. So that means.........
"I'm not going to die on this flight." she tried to rebel
"You think that's your choice?"
"Everything is a choice."
Now he smiled. Not kindly. Almost pitying.
"Spoken like a girl who's never had her choices taken."

Grey smiled sadly at the young lady beside him , confused and morally conflicted, she wasn't suppose to be on this plane, then his gaze wandered back to the con artist, who was he hired by ??, they had been watching Ivy Reed for a while , orders given to him from his boss which he never questioned . General Gordon has always had a desire for war and conflict, being his partner in business , he knew the man must have robbed him of critical information before he entered this aircraft. A Russian Con artist eloping with the United States president's only daughter and the aircraft conveying them dies in motion . A spectacular headline that could ignite war but weren't we at war already.
He really never questioned the directives he was given , he was being paid and that was enough to seal his mouth, but this particular flight has raised many suspicions in his head . E-68 a program meant to eliminate certain people every year it flies , innocent or not , and then a witness with a famous last name , someone had tampered with this very crash , that he knew all too well but his job was simple, make sure the plane goes down.
