The Good Monsters

The summer is ending and school looms. A familiar group of friends has reunited in the light of those all-too-welcoming golden arches.

But something dark has leaked through, finding its way into every home and institution in the mountain town of Alden Colorado.

August is giving way to fall. But before the first bell rings, the pack will be tested in ways that make their old lives feel like a dream. In a town where the light has gone out of the leaders' eyes and the law has turned to ash, it's the ones that show up, who fill the void.

​As an ancient monster rises from the depths of the earth, the only things standing in its way are the all-too-familiar click of a gun safety and the dangerous, low-frequency growls of the wild. The lines between humans and monsters will blur.
