THE DEPTHS is the first short story from the series What Remains.

What Remains revolves around the psychological and psychic tension in the life of characters. Through themes of control, memory distortion, paranoia, emotional isolation, and buried trauma, the collection dives into the darker corners of human consciousness.

The stories are not directly connected, thus they can be read like a standalone.

It's not really about ghosts or monsters.
It's about what people become when fear settles in and refuses to leave.
