Beautiful Poison

Naruto starts noticing small "coincidences" around the village-photos that look like they were taken from impossibly close distances, written notes predicting what he'll say before he does, and "help" that feels too targeted to be kindness. Everyone around him insists it's nothing, but the fear keeps growing: someone has been watching him obsessively for longer than anyone would believe. The closer Naruto gets to feeling safe, the more chaotic and sick the pattern becomes-until the day, he's finally forced to look at the watcher. When Kakashi reveals himself, Naruto doesn't recoil the way he should; the mind that's been hunted begins to cling to the only consistent presence it can make sense of.
