Everything was normal for being a new nurse at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Kent County, Georgia. Everything was going great. My father being a Sheriff helped me be where I am today. I was having a normal day at the hospital when we got a call about a cop being shot, which happened. What I wasn't ready for was the sheriff coming into my hospital was my father. My father was shot; and he fell into a coma after his surgery and after he fell into his coma the world went to shit. The dead came alive and started eating the living. I lost everything in a week. My father,my job, my life. It wasn't worth anything. Just trying to stay alive. I had to protect my stepmom Lori and my kid brother Carl. I lost myself, but I finally found myself after I found him; Gleen Rhee. He became my reason to still live for myself and not just to survive for my family and keep them alive.

This adaptation follows the same general premise and conflicts of the original novel, but it is written purely from my imagination. The characters keep the names Lena and Miu instead of the original names from the novel. Since I haven't been able to find a full English adaptation or translation of the novel, this story is based only on the summary and a few excerpts I have come across. Because of that, some details may differ from the original novel or the future series. This is simply a fan project created while we all wait for Lena and Miu's next series.
