In the neon-lit chaos of Atlanta, Ariana, known to the streets and the club she works in as Angel, is just trying to survive the night and stack her paper. But when a powerful kingpin refuses to take no for an answer, her life takes a turn into a nightmare. Trapped in a car and screaming for help, she thinks it's the end, until a window shatters and the flash of a muzzle changes everything.

King Von wasn't looking for a damsel in distress. He was just looking for a quiet place to smoke in his car. But he doesn't do victim, and he definitely doesn't do watch a woman in distress. After taking out the man attacking her, Von whisks Angel away to his Atlanta mansion, leaving a dead high-level hustler in the rearview.

Now, Angel is caught in a deadly crossfire. The Kingpin's empire is stretching from Georgia to Chicago to Texas, looking for the woman who defied him and the killer who took their top earner. Angel is terrified, traumatized, and initially hates the cold-blooded demon who saved her only to lock her in his golden cage.

But as the pressure rises and the henchmen close in, the hate begins to blur into something deeper. In the trenches of a city-wide war, Angel realizes that if she wants to stay alive, she has to stop running and start shooting.

He's a killer by nature. She's a survivor by force. Together, they're a problem Atlanta isn't ready for.
