The Infinite Grove

Rook's story follows a violently unstable young man who becomes an unexpected focal point in the Hollow's Forest after surviving a lifetime of abuse and isolation that shaped him into a ruthless, instinct-driven killer. Initially existing as a lone predator with no allegiance or understanding of the supernatural world around him, he is slowly pulled into the structured chaos of Creepypasta society after encountering Kagura Himetsuki, who begins teaching him the hidden rules, rituals, and hierarchies of the forest. Through her influence, and later the detached observations of Chronoscythe, Rook starts to recognize that he is no longer just a human surviving through violence, but something being categorized, studied, and shaped by forces far beyond him. As he becomes entangled with both Creepypastas and the Creepypasta Hunters, he is forced to confront escalating conflicts between Slenderman's domain, Zalgo's growing corruption, and the fragile political balance of the forest, all while the protection of Lizari becomes a central point of tension that draws every faction into collision.
