Andrea 'Andie' Frances Rousseau is a senior paediatric trauma doctor transferring from London to Pittsburgh for a short-term residency to help improve customer satisfaction at PTMC.
Jack Abbot is the night attending physician at PTMC, rugged, closed off, with a sarcastic streak and whit sharp enough to deflect anyone from getting too close to his vulnerability.
Silly glove-balloon characters, children's pin badges attached to her lanyard, rich ember-coloured hair with a woodsy, cinnamon scent that reminded Jack of camping in the summertime in the best way; something about the temporary new senior paediatrician at The Pitt makes Dr. Abbott feel uncomfortably exposed. He can't shake the indecisive feeling on whether to push away the vulnerability or allow her to unravel his tightly wound shell.
