Eden Elizabeth Langdon was a lot of things, an accomplished emergency medicine senior resident, a mother to her son and daughter and a wife to her favourite person in the world, Frank Langdon. As soon as they met at age 18, they knew they would spend the rest of their lives together, they understood each other on a level that couldn't be found in any other living thing on the planet, it was just Frank and Eden. They had never spent a day apart from each other, ever, not when they fought over little things, not the day before their wedding, not when Eden was in hospital after having their children and not when Frank tweaked his back helping his parents move into their newly downsized house. They hadn't spent a day apart until the day most of the emergency department would call their worst shift ever, and the most traumatic shift of their career, the shift that eden would eventually go onto say was the worst day of her life.
