After an intense fight in the Jung house, Jung Hoseok decides to run away from that toxic household, ending up in a car crash where he suffered severe brain damage, causing him troubles deciding what's real and what's imaginary.

A while later after the accident, his parents, overwhelmed with guilt and remorse, married him off to the youngest son of the Kim's, Kim Taehyung, who turned out to be a good but distant husband, filling his duties as a husband, but never being there emotionally.
