When the Prince sets her on missions with a companion Ashley, Kenzie is forced to play nice for longer than she intended to get on both of their good sides. However, Ashley learns of Kenzie's true intentions and wants Kenzie gone before she hurts the "wonderful" Prince or to put Ashley's chances of joining a top tear of the Camerila (the vampire law makers) in jeopardy.
