Book One of the Split in the Masquerade Series based on the RPG, Vampire The Masquerade NO FORMER KNOWLEDGE OF RPG IS NEEDED TO ENJOY -- Kenzie wants the new Prince of Edmonds dead for killing her sire and foring her to go into hiding. When the Prince sets her on missions with a companion Ashley, Kenzie is forced to play nice for longer than she intended to get on both of their good sides. However, Ashley learns of Kenzie's true intentions and wants Kenzie gone before she hurts the "wonderful" Prince or to put Ashley's chances of joining a top tear of the Camerila (the vampire law makers) in jeopardy.
