Lucian Grant is quite the opposite of stable. On the University of Toronto campus he's the golden boy, the star of the hockey team, and exactly the kind of person Hayden can't stand. He's arrogant, reckless, and infuriatingly charming. Plus, he makes it all worse when he insisted on sitting next to her in class just to annoy her, like it's his full time job. Unbeknownst to Hayden, he really does like her and would do anything to be with her, even if it's not for real.
