As a merman, Eryon lived in the sea all his life. He loved fishes, the corals and other creatures that resided in the sea. As the sea was beautiful, the world above it was not. Eryon had been warned about the creatures that lived above the waters, the vessels that carry them and their brutal ways. He was a witness to them when one of his pod members were taken by those creatures.
He was warned that once they take you out of the water, there is no return. He was told to stay away, and he did.
Until one migration. While traveling with his pod, there was an attack that separated him from his pod. Tangled in one of their traps and he was plucked out of the sea as he watched his family cry helplessly.
He was even more confused when his mate turned out to be the ruthless captain of the ship.
With no way to communicate, Eryon's life hangs at the hands of a cruel man.
Will he survive or does he have to fight to his death?
