Evelyn Salvatore. Daughter of Elena Gilbert-Salvatore and Damon Salvatore. Niece of Stefan Salvatore and Caroline Forbes-Salvatore. Evelyn's life is turned upside down when she discovers her destiny, which she received by being cursed by a witch at birth. 

The town of Mystic Falls was put a spell on, after Elena and Damon got married, that all supernatural creatures were able to procreate, and their offspring will be the supernatural being that their parents are, and will have all supernatural entities that their parents have.

Before the spell was cast, there was a flood of mermaids that were discovered at the Falls in Mystic Falls. Turns out that they have been living there for hundreds of years.  

Evelyn must make a life or death decision, and discover her true self and her true destiny.
