Eyes of her

I've known since I was a child that my eyes are not like everyone else's.

They don't just see colors, light, or people.
They see... things that aren't meant to be seen.
Shadows with no owners.

Smiles that don't reflect in mirrors.
And eyes that stare back at me-
even when no one should be there.

At first, I thought it was just a child's imagination.
But as I grew older, those things became clearer-closer.

As if they were trying to make me see them more than I should.

So I learned not to look.

Not to meet their gaze.

Not to linger.

Not to acknowledge that they exist.
And somehow... that allowed me to live almost like a normal person.

Until one day,
I met her.
She was standing among the crowd.

Her pale hair caught the sunlight, as if she didn't quite belong to this world.

Her cold, quiet eyes locked onto mine-directly.

It wasn't just me who could see her.

She... could see me too.

My heart stopped for a moment.
Because for the first time in my life,
something that wasn't supposed to be seen-

was looking back at me.

I should have turned away.

I should have walked past her like I always did.

But I couldn't.
Because in her eyes,

there was no emptiness like the others.

There was something I had never seen in the world of the living-
Emotion.

And that... was the beginning of everything that went wrong.

Because I didn't know that
the moment our eyes met,
I would fall in love with
something that was never human.
