The ever silence of the Maker is taught by the Chantry to be the result of Mankind's hubris, and that we need to earn his love again by spreading the Chant to all corners of Thedas. Most see this tenant as a challenge of their faith. Then there is some like Noel Cer de Fiorve, a former slave taken from Orlais to the Tevinter Imperium, who has seen the worst of men and women alike, and has chosen that the warped promise of Corypheus is, in the end, a better truth than the broken promises of the Maker. He quickly rises in the ranks of the Venatori until he is eventually appointed second in command under Calpurnia, who has his most challenging task yet: infiltrate the Inquisition and destroy it from the inside out.

"Humour me." "But what about you? Don't you need luck too?" Lyric asked, protest forming a small crack in her voice. "I don't know what you'll face before the end," Cullen insisted, his face drawing nearer hers until their foreheads were touching. Her hand was palm-up in his, then, the dark leather of his glove and the moonlight's ivory flush making her fingers look impossibly pale. He placed the lucky coin there, closing her fist around it. "Just humour me." ---- Slow burn romance between Cullen and my femme Lavellan, Lyric. The story is mostly made up of moments between characters, skipping some of the action we are familiar with. Spans the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition, base game only. - 18+ only - Disclaimers: - Content/trigger warnings for minor character injury, blood/gore, and sexual content. - This is a a slow burn, but it is a romance nonetheless. *Not* smut; there are also character pieces for my Inquisitor and some others that are not related to the romance, but it's all part of Lyric's story. - There are time jumps, and some slight canon divergence/original elements, but nothing that impacts the integrity of the story in a major way. - I have only played Inquisition and all associated expansions, but not the earlier games. - This is my interpretation of the story- I take some liberties with minor variations and some situations of my own. - My lore is not perfect, but I'm trying! Feel free to gently correct me if I get something wrong! - All art (including the cover) is my original art! - If you know me, no you don't.

Whispers of the Heart: A Dragon Age Tale

24 parts Complete Mature

In the wake of the grand ball at the Winter Palace, where alliances were forged and secrets unveiled, the Inquisition stands at a crossroads. Navier, the elven Inquisitor, finds herself grappling not only with the weight of her responsibilities but also with unexpected feelings stirring in her heart. As she navigates the treacherous waters of politics and prophecy, her friendship with the charming Tevinter mage, Dorian Pavus, begins to evolve into something more complex and profound. Set against the backdrop of a world teetering on the brink of chaos, "Whispers of the Heart" explores the delicate dance of friendship, love, and duty. As Navier and Dorian face the challenges that threaten to tear Thedas apart, they must also confront their own deepest fears and desires. Their journey will test the boundaries of friendship, challenge long-held beliefs, and perhaps forge a love strong enough to withstand the fires of war and the weight of destiny. . . .
