Raised inside the most feared institution in Hollow, Echo has spent her life being shaped into exactly what the system rewards: disciplined, lethal, and dangerous enough to survive it. When Echo is dragged beyond the Ward's control, she finds herself in a world of ruined loyalties, buried secrets, and people who look at her like a weapon before they ever see a girl. The farther she is pulled from the life that made her, the harder it becomes to tell where survival ends and something far more dangerous begins.
