This is a story about a guy named August Stark. He lives in a trailer with his nomad-like mother who can't keep a man for more than 3 months which means August as never lived anywhere for more than 3 months. He's never finished a school semester, he stopped trying to make friends years ago when he realized he wouldn't be keeping any, and writes in notebooks as a way to ease his grief. Until they reach Florida, until he meets Mason, until he meets Raelyn, until he makes friends who change his perspective on life, until his mother finally seems settled. Things seem fine...until the secrets start pouring out. (I know this is cheesy, the story is MUCH better than this, so please have a read! All people and places are fictional! If they resemble someone in real life, I promise I didn't stalk you, its just an accident!!)
