Nova has always been fascinated by the order of plants and the questions of the universe, too smart and too young to do anything about it. So when she is brought in to see two men wanting to adopt a teenage girl, she didn't know what she expected, but finding quirky and silly, funny and caring parents was not what she thought it was going to be. 

Adopted by Dan Howell and Phil Lester isn't quite what it's cut out to be after all. Phil leaves his socks everywhere and cereal on the counter and Dan stays up too late and his shirts always change the colours of hers in the wash, but all in all, she doesn't mind it. In fact, she get sucked into their world as well. With a pretty voice, nimble fingers, and broken words, the world is not ready for novaparallax. 

She's an entirely different breed of a mess. 
But a lovely mess all the same.
