When her eyes met his for the first time in college,
her whole world shifted in a single heartbeat.
It felt as if her gaze had always known its way to him
as if destiny had been quietly rehearsing that moment for years.

Nobody believed in him.
But she did.
She believed with a certainty that felt like faith.

She left her lavish life.
He left his wounded pride.
She taught him how to glow in the dark.
He taught her what it meant to truly live.
She gave up palaces built of gold.
He let go of scars he had carried for years
all just to hold her hand without fear.

"Mujhe jaane do..." he whispered, breaking.
She held his hand tighter and said,
"Yeh haath kabhi chhorne ke liye nahi thaama tha."

And even now,
the question still lingers quietly in his eyes

"Kitna saath nibhaogi?"
